History
UNILID is a ministry of Campus Crusade
for Christ in Latin America. UNILID was
established in 1994 and received its incorporation paper in 1996.
It has its precedent in the Institute of Leadership (previously
called the Institute of Theological Studies), operated in Latin America
since 1981 by Campus Crusade. The
educational materials of the Institute of Leadership have been expanded to
form the basis for the Master of Christian Ministry program and continue
to be offered as seminars in the Certificate programs.
In 1994, after much prayer and planning, the Master of Christian Leadership program offered its first advanced module.
Facilities
UNILID has its administrative
offices in Miami, Florida, located at 14540 S.W. 136th Street,
Suite 212, Miami, Florida, 33186 (305-969-6594). The office serves as a
center of coordination, communication, record keeping, classroom
activities, educational resource center and academic advisement and
counseling center. Academic activities are conducted in the contexts of
the students throughout the Americas.
