ProgramsThe programs of UNILID have been organized taking into account the many obligations and responsibilities of the modern Christian, whether a full-time Christan worker or professional or executirve, military or police or politician who works in the secular world. All the materials are given in an intensive format with sessions of one to two weeks. The majority of the lectures, written works and projects are assigned for the period between classes. This makes the option of studying at the graduate level a real option for those who are unable to attend full-time at an institution withn a traditional format. UNILID's programs have been designed to prepare the student for effective spiritual service and not for a secular profession.
Master in Christian LeadershipTo provide the leadership necessary for a rapidly expanding church it is necessary to mobilize believers in positions of influence in our society, people with the capacity to integrate biblical, theological, historical, sociological and philosophical knowledge, and observe how God has worked through the ages such that they can cooperate with what He is doing today. These leaders must learn the character, the process and the skills of healthy, biblical and effective leadership. This program is designed to equip the Christian professional who desires to increase his/her biblical and theological knowledge while at the same time developing leadership potential, in order to be used as an influence for Christ with better effectivenessin the secular world. The program consists of seven intensive modules. They emphasize the aspects of communication and character. The student will refine their personal vision, develop mentoring relationships for permanent growth and protection from the dangers that with such frequency cause the fall of people in leadership. Each module requires reading and written work prior to meeting for a week of intensive interaction with the expert professor in country. The majority of the modules require the completion of a final project applying what the student has learned to his/her life and ministry. The modules are semi independent so that the student can enter in any part of the cycle, although the first three modules establish the biblical, theological and world vision bases. The students needs to figure on studying twelve to fifteen hours per week during thecourse of the year to maintain the rhythm of the modules. UNILID offers two to three modules per year.
Instituto de Liderazgo (ILID)UNILID offers the Institutes of Leadership in the principal cities of the continent to help prepare Christian leaders. This series of courses is designed to give the student a solid base in the area of leadership, and biblical and theological knowledge for life and Christian ministry. The classes maintain a high academic level with practical focus. They emphasize a life filled with the Holy Spirit and the completion of the Grand Commission (Matthew 28:18-20)
