Beautiful Strawberry Moon
The date is approaching to see a special Moon in Yucatan, which will take place before the summer equinox and which marks the end of spring: the Strawberry Moon 2023.
The Strawberry Moon will be visible in the night sky of Yucatan the next Saturday 3 , Sunday 4 and Monday 5 June 2023. However, the early morning of this Sunday June 4 will be the time to appreciate it in all its splendor.
This Moon will be strictly speaking a supermoon, so the natural satellite will appear 30% brighter and 17% larger than usual.
The full Moon in June is popularly recognized as the Strawberry Moon derived from the start of the strawberry harvest season in some parts of the world, such as the United States and Canada.

Although the Strawberry Moon itself does not have distinctive attributes, such as specific color or size, some believe that the origin of its name is related to these elements. This is because, in some years, the June Full Moon has had a reddish hue due to certain coincidences.
It is argued that this coloration is due to particles emitted by forest fires and volcanic eruptions, which would have remained suspended in the air during the first month of summer and ended up dyeing the moon with this hue.
